12.1.3 Two Factor Authentication (TFA)

Purpose

Two Factor Authentication (TFA) provides an additional layer of security to protect user accounts from unauthorized access. Users can enable Google Authenticator and Passcode verification to strengthen account security.

Prerequisites

• User must be logged in to the CRM.

• User must have access to Settings → My Settings.

• Google Authenticator application must be installed on the user's mobile device.

Steps to Enable Google Authenticator

1. Go to Settings from the left navigation menu.

2. Select My Settings.

3. Click the Two Factor Authentication tab.

4. Enable the Google TFA option.

5. A QR Code will be displayed on the screen.

6. Open the Google Authenticator application on your mobile device.

7. Scan the QR Code using the application.

8. Enter the generated six-digit verification code in the CRM.

9. Click Save to activate Google Two Factor Authentication. 

Steps to Enable Passcode Authentication

1. Go to Setting 

2. Click my setting drop down

3. Navigate to theTwo Factor Authenticationscreen.

4. Select the Passcode option.

Result

Two Factor Authentication is enabled successfully. Users will be required to enter the configured verification code or passcode during login to access their account securely.

Note

Users should securely store their passcode and keep access to their Google Authenticator application, as both may be required for future account access.
